Functionality of the Stainless Steel Boot Washing Station

Both cleaning stations are equipped with a raised, removable grid as a stepping surface for the manual cleaning of the shafts and uppers of work boots. With one of the two water-fed hand washing brushes included in the delivery, not only boots and work shoes can be cleaned of all dirt, but other equipment can also be effectively cleaned by hand.A black-and-white separation is also possible.
-
The used water is collected through a generous water trough or shower drain and is automatically directed to the wastewater system via a drainage pipe. To prevent clogging and unpleasant odors, we offer an optional dirt collection bucket and odor trap (see options). As an additional option, the boot washing station can be equipped with two side splash guards and a rear splash guard to prevent the surrounding area, sensitive equipment, and nearby people from getting wet and dirty due to splashing water.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Who is the stainless steel boot washing station suitable for?
The stainless steel boot washing station is ideal for fire departments, THW, agriculture, construction, and wastewater industries. It provides a hygienic and durable solution for cleaning service boots, work boots, and equipment – even in cases of heavy contamination.
How does the cleaning process work with the boot washer?
Two cleaning stations, water-fed hand brushes, and integrated stainless steel brushes with spray nozzles ensure effective cleaning of soles, boot shafts, and workwear. The removable grate provides a secure stand for manual cleaning.
Does the system support the black-and-white separation according to DGUV 205-016?
Yes, the boot washer allows for the cleaning of contaminated boots directly in the "black area." This ensures that the "white area" remains clean and complies with the guidelines for contamination prevention in operational service.
How is the drinking water protected during the use of the boot washing system?
An optional System Separator BA reliably protects drinking water from back contamination. It complies with the requirements of DIN EN 1717 and DIN 1988-100 and is approved for liquid category 4. For more information, please email us at info@inventied.de.
Where does the dirty water flow during the boot cleaning process?
The dirty water is collected in a gutter and directed through a drainpipe. An optional dirt-catching bucket, with or without odor seal, prevents clogs and unpleasant odors.
